Designed for the tremendous volume of our Mark 7 presses, every aspect of these precision dies was carefully engineered for top performance. Of course, they work great in regular progressive presses as well as turret and single station presses. Our first consideration was the material of the dies. Our size, seat and crimp dies are all made of stainless steel which was chosen for its toughness and anti-corrosion qualities. No more rusted dies! Our sizing dies are equipped with highly polished carbide rings for the ultimate in wear resistance and reduced sizing force. In addition, the sizing dies are equipped with a spring-loaded decapping rod system to ensure that the primer is forcefully ejected from the primer pocket. Our rifle sets get our famous M die neck expander, with its famous two step expander plug for just the right amount of neck tension and case mouth flare. The pistol sets include our flare die which are designed to allow bullets to properly sit on the case mouth prior to seating. Next is our Micrometer Seating die. This seating die has a micrometer adjustable seating head for precision bullet seating length. Its floating bullet seating punch centers the bullet on the case and eliminates excessive run-out. Finally, each set is equipped with a taper crimp die (micrometer adjustable) to fully remove any case mouth flare and to provide improved bullet retention.

Carbide factory crimp die is sold separately, available as an accessory. Its six stations allows any brand of die to be used in line bullet feed dies, powder check dies and such. Its simple and reliable automatic indexing has just one moving part, replaceable in seconds, and no tools required. It also never requires adjustment. The stroke and clearance sufficient for largest magnum rifle cases. It also uses the same all steel linkage found on the Classic Cast 50 BMG press. Lees 40 S&W Pistol Breech Lock 3-Die Set includes colored Smart Lock bushings for easy die identification, Carbide Full Length Sizing Die, Bullet Seating Die, Powder Thru Expanding Die, Universal Shell Holder, Powder Dipper and Instructions/Load Data. This can be used to load the 10mm Auto. Back out the bullet seating die and powder through expanding die 1 3/4 turns. 10mm Load Data is found in Modern Reloading. This can also be used to reload the 41 Action Express. The powder through expander and bullet seating die would have to be backed out approximately two turns. The load data included with the dies cannot be used with the 41 Action Express, it would have to be obtained through a favorite powder manufacturer. WARNING: DO NOT USE reloads in Glock or similar guns with chambers that do not fully support the cartridge due to the intrusion of the feed ramp.

Lee's Carbide Factory Crimp Die sizes the cartridge while being crimped so every round will positively chamber freely with factory like dependability. This die applies a roll style crimp. The adjusting screw quickly and easily sets the desired amount of crimp. Trim Length is not critical so this extra operation takes less time than it would if cases were trimmed and chamfered. A firm crimp is essential for dependable and accurate ammunition, as it eliminates the problems of poor ignition of slow burning magnum powders.

The Lee taper crimp dies hardened steel designed to overcome crimp problems caused by poor die design. These dies offer little or no advantage when used with 1986 or newer Lee dies as the crimp angle is already modified taper crimp. Jacketed bullets must have a crimp groove.

Quick change shell plates allow you to change from one caliber to another in a matter of minutes. When changing to another caliber with a different primer size, be sure to order the Pro 1000 primer attachment.

Lee's Powder Thru Expanding Die charges the case while expanding the case mouth. It is used with a powder funnel adapter or the Auto Disk or Pro Auto Disk Powder Measure.

Lee 40 S&W Case Length Gauge is a precise, easy way to trim to length and square the case mouth. Used with the Cutter and Lock Stud or Zip Trim. Trim to length .840 to .850 inches.

This die body works with Lee's Deluxe Quick Trim Case Trimmer to quickly and precisely trim brass to the correct length at the same time it chamfers the inside and outside of the case mouth. No calipers, measurement or adjustment required. Simply install the appropriate quick trim die in your press and start trimming.

Grips the shell for a firm fit in the press during reloading or priming operations. Universal shell holder used in most brands of reloading presses. Not for use with the Auto-Prime.
